About BWG
Empowering Wagnerian Opera Singers
BWG is dedicated to supporting dramatic opera singers in mastering new roles and bringing the works of Richard Wagner to broader and underserved audiences. We achieve this through innovative programming, including full opera productions, semi-staged highlight concerts, and our signature Snackable Wagner© concert series. BWG takes a holistic approach to artist development, bridging the critical gap between conservatory training and a professional career as a Wagnerian singer.

What We Do
BWG brings Wagner’s operas to life through semi-staged concert highlights (our Snackable Wagner© concert series), reimagined in both traditional and unexpected spaces. By dissolving the distance between stage and audience, BWG creates intimate, powerful encounters with Wagner’s music and the artists who bring it to life.
Leadership
Founded in 2018, BWG operates as a collaborative collective where performers share both the costs and the profits of each full production—from the first rehearsal to the final performance. BWG provides the essential infrastructure for singers to rehearse and perform full Wagner operas, managing all aspects of scheduling, budgeting, venue coordination, casting, and marketing.
– A New Adventure Begins –
In 2021, Berlin Wagner Group, Inc. was established as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, with a sister presence in New Hampshire. This expansion allows BWG to broaden its reach, offering more opportunities for Wagnerian singers and bringing the operas of Richard Wagner—and works inspired by his legacy—to audiences across New Hampshire and the greater New England region through our Snackable Wagner© concert series.
